Henckels International Clad Cookware is tri-ply cookware composed of 18/10 stainless, aluminum and magnetic stainless. The middle aluminum layer extends from the base up the sides of the pan so the heat is conducted evenly throughout the pan. This increases the cooking performance of the pan and eliminates hot spots, which can burn foods because of uneven heating when cooking. The stainless steel material on the interior cooking surface and outside of the pan is high strength, resistant to rusting and does not react when in contact with food.Clad inside and out in gleaming stainless steel, the pots and pans in this set get a new kitchen up and running in no time. Included are one- and two-quart lidded saucepans, a three-quart lidded sauté pan, six-quart lidded stock pot, and open 8- and 10-inch frying pans. The long handles, riveted for strength and curved for comfort and control, stay cool thanks to their hollow design and V-connection. Cooks who like to hang pots and pans within easy reach will appreciate the generously sized hole in the handle ends. Whisks, spoons, and cleaning brushes all glide smoothly along the curved inner contour of the pans, and the stainless-steel lids fit snugly on the flared, easy-pour rims.
